Weight Loss Diet
I think need not to tell you what weight loss diet is as almost all of you are familiar with the term. Weight loss diet, to say in general sense, is the followed for losing the over grown weight. Weight loss diet is specially meant for the overweight people who want to lose their weight. Weight loss diet is found to be very helpful and is being extensively used worldwide. Here I am going to tell you about the popular weight loss diet programs. So here we go. First of all I would like to mention about low fat diets. Low fat diets were popular during the 80s and 90s, influencing people to eat foods low in fat and foods high in carbohydrates. As an instance, low fat diets told people to eat less fat junk food or sweet snacks; instead, you can opt for low-calorie, and high-fiber foods like fruits and vegetables. These helps people feel full for long time, and make any diet plan more effective. Secondly I would like to mention about Atkins diet. I am sure most of you are familiar with this term. Atkins diet is one of the popular weight loss programs which is accepted and followed world wide. This diet is based on the concept of famous Dr. Robert Atkins. There are also diets as natural diets that stress the eating habits of "natural humans" have been developed. This form of diet is dedicated to consumption of only naturally available food products (those foods which are not processed by the humans). Now I would like to mention about vegetarian diet. It is fully a diet program which emphasizes the use of vegetables only as food. There is a growing body of evidence that vegetarian diets can prevent obesity and lower disease risks. Last but not least I would like to mention about very low calorie diet. These diets are prescribed for the obese patients. Daily intake consists of three milkshake-like formula drinks, which supply about 500 Calories and all necessary vitamins and minerals. A detailed discussion has been done on every possible weight loss diet program. See our next sections. |
